Introduced in 2013, Moulin Roty’s Les Popipop range is bright and cheerful, a little bit retro, and great for an older child. The Les Popipop story is based on 7 different characters and there is someone for both girls and boys. The range features primary colours, a wide variety of textured fabrics, and a distinctive style. These magical characters are designed with a timeless wit and a wry sense of humour.
The Les Popipop Giraffe doll is wearing a very ‘Sixties’ look. Dressed in a short red dress with white polka dots and an upturned cotton collar, she is the tallest of the Popipop dolls. Giraffe is made from a soft buttercup yellow velour, with dark blue legs (note that clothing is not removable).
Giraffe has a totem-like muzzle in corduroy, topped with 2 small ‘horns’. She has mustard and white spotted cotton-lined ears, and a buttercup yellow tail. Her facial features are appliqued and embroidered for safety.
Although vintage and delicate in style, these toys are highly crafted and produced to high specifications to withstand rougher play. Moulin Roty has been producing iconic French toys that delight both children and adults for over 40 years.
