Tomas Saraceno: Particular Matter(s)

Description
For more than a decade, Argentinian artist, architect and researcher Tomas Saraceno has been imagining a world free from borders and fossil fuels. In this age of climate emergency, his work has focused on a new era of our Earth that emphasizes the atmosphere, called the Aerocene. His huge architectural bubble-systems, floating sculptures, and interactive installations envisage ethical collaboration with the atmosphere and propose forms of inhabiting and sensing the environment that have been suppressed in the Capitalocene.
In keeping with Saraceno's own concerns with reducing human impact on the environment, the book will be printed in part on wastepaper salvaged from other print jobs by Italian printing atelier Musumeci, in an effort to reduce the waste associated with the book's production.
